Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for mild cognitive impairment in Western medicine and the diagnostic criteria for the type of "spleen deficiency with phlegm obstruction" in traditional Chinese medicine; 2. Aged between 40 and 80 years (inclusive of 40 and 80), with no restriction on gender; 3. Right-handed, without visual or auditory impairments, and able to cooperate with scale assessments; 4. Has not participated in other clinical studies in the past 3 months, has not been on long-term specific medications prior to enrollment, or has completed the washout period; 5. Voluntarily participates in the study and signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Organic diseases that can explain cognitive impairment; 2. Alarm symptoms or long-term use of non-steroidal drugs; 3. Cognitive impairment caused by a clear underlying cause; 4. Severe aphasia or neurological deficits, making cognitive assessment impossible; 5. Diagnosed with other types of dementia; 6. History of alcoholism, drug abuse, or misuse of psychiatric medications; 7. Allergy to acupuncture or severe coagulation disorders.
