Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Meet the diagnostic criteria for simple obesity as defined by both traditional Chinese and Western medicine; aged between 18 and 50 years old, with no gender restrictions; voluntarily accept acupuncture treatment or acupoint embedding thread therapy and cooperate with various tests, be able to cooperate throughout the entire treatment process, and all patients have signed the treatment informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: If any of the following conditions is answered as "yes", the case will not be included in this study. (1) Patients with secondary obesity; those with diabetes, hypothyroidism, infection system disorders, blood system disorders, major organic diseases, and mental illnesses; (2) Patients who have received related traditional Chinese and Western medical treatment within one month; those who failed to receive or complete the treatment as required and whose treatment efficacy cannot be determined or whose data is incomplete; (3) Patients with poor compliance and unable to adhere to the treatment; (4) Pregnant and lactating women;
