Group A:Insulin 20 U intranasal
Group B:Insulin 20 U intranasal+Acupuncture at bilateral acupoints (Daling PC7, Shenmen HT7, Neiguan PC6, Tongli HT5, Hegu LI4)
Group C:Acupuncture at bilateral acupoints (Daling PC7, Shenmen HT7, Neiguan PC6, Tongli HT5, Hegu LI4)

65 Years to 110 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: General anesthesia, ASA physical status classification Grade 1-3, aged =65 years, anesthesia duration of no less than 2 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to nasal administration (with nasal cavity defects or pathological changes), history of insulin allergy, history of severe heart, liver and kidney diseases, history of neurological or psychiatric disorders, skin infection at the acupuncture site, coagulopathy. Exclusion if any of the above conditions is present.
