Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age = 50 years. (2) Evidence of reduced intrinsic capacity, or a score = 10 on the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Aging Evaluation Scale. (3) Provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe disease or unstable clinical status attributable to age-related changes of major organs. (2) Severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, malignant neoplasm, hematologic disorder, or other serious diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, or neurological systems (e.g., moderate-to-severe Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease). (3) Severe psychiatric disorders or significant cognitive impairment. (4) Presence of physical disabilities that would impede participation. (5) Meeting diagnostic criteria for, or habitually exhibiting, Traditional Chinese Medicine patterns such as liver-yang hyperactivity, excess-heat (shi-heat), damp-heat, or yin-deficiency with internal heat. (6) History of alcohol abuse or substance dependence within 1 year prior to screening. (7) Participation in another investigational drug trial within 1 month prior to screening. (8) Known or suspected hypersensitivity/allergy to the investigational product or its excipients, or a history of atopy. (9) Any other condition that, in the investigator's judgment, would render the subject unsuitable for participation due to potential protocol noncompliance or safety concerns.
