60 Years to 82 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.age 60-85 years; 2.diagnosis of primary insomnia according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Third Edition) (DSM-3); 3. experienced insomnia for more than 3 months; 4.insomnia complaint 3 or more nights per week; 5.total Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) count should be 7 points or over; 6.intact skin and no infection or abscess close to the intervention site; 7. agreeing not to take other nonpharmacological treatment during the entire trial period; 8. can understand the therapy of Gua Sha and obey the request after treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with severe primary diseases in various internal systems, diabetes, skin diseases in the area to be treated with gua sha, and those with severe mental disorders, if the researchers believe they cannot complete the study; (2) Those who are extremely weak, have sensitive skin, have abnormal blood clotting function, or have a tendency to bleed; (3) Those who are afraid of gua sha or do not cooperate with the treatment plan; (4) Those who are on medication that affects sleep quality or frequently consume foods that affect sleep.
