Intervention group:Basic treatment and Jianpi Qinghua formula
Control group:Basic treatment and Jianpi Qinghua placebo granule (containing 5% of the active ingredients of the original formula).

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged 18 to 65 years; (2) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus; (3) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for elevated blood cadmium levels; (4) Patients voluntarily participating in the study and providing signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) > 9%; (2) Pregnant or lactating women; (3) Patients with severe underlying diseases (e.g., pernicious anemia, malignancy, infection), or those complicated by severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, cardiovascular disease, or a history of stroke; patients with psychiatric disorders, psychological disorders, or behavioral abnormalities.
