Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Conform to the diagnostic criteria of the expert consensus on the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment and diagnosis standards for cervical spondylosis (2023); 2) 18 years = age = 60 years; 3) Cervical X-ray, CT, and MR examinations support the diagnosis of cervical spondylosis; 4) Duration of neck pain =30 minutes, with more than 1 episode per month in the past 3 months; 5) No history of acupuncture treatment for neck pain in the past month.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Acupuncture points or skin near the acupuncture points with infections; 2) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 3) Individuals currently participating in or having participated in other clinical trials within the past month; 4) Individuals unable to cooperate with treatment due to illness or other reasons; 5) Cervical spondylotic myelopathy; 6) History of diabetes, cerebrocardiovascular diseases, or tumors; 7) History of neck trauma, cervical fractures, cervical surgery, congenital spinal deformities, and/or systemic diseases related to bones and joints; 8) Myasthenia gravis and/or neurological injuries associated with abnormal nerve reflexes.
