Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diabetes Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) patients: (1) Meet the diagnosis criteria for type 2 diabetes peripheral neuropathy; (2) Toronto Clinical Scoring System (TCSS) score =6 points; (3) Age between 30 to 85 years old; (4) Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; (5) Good glycemic control (Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG) =7.0 mmol/L, Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) =11.0 mmol/L).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with severe organic diseases, such as cardiac, cerebrovascular, hepatic, or renal insufficiency, as well as those with malignant tumors or psychiatric disorders; 2.Individuals with acute infections or acute diabetic complications (e.g., diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperglycemic hyperosmolar state); 3.Individuals with autoimmune diseases; 4.Pregnant or lactating women; 5.Individuals with an allergic constitution, a history of allergy to acupuncture or acupuncture-related syncope, or skin ulceration/breakdown.
