Interventions

Group A (Integrated Chinese Medicine Group):Application of Chinese herbal analgesic patch 20 minutes before venipuncture + structured social worker support before, during, and after the procedure (inc
Group B (Chinese Medicine Alone Group):Application of Chinese herbal analgesic patch 20 minutes before venipuncture. No additional social worker intervention.
Group C (EMLA/Compound Lidocaine Cream Group) :Application and occlusion of EMLA/Compound Lidocaine Cream 60 minutes before venipuncture. No social worker intervention.
Group D (Placebo Group) :Placebo patches were applied. No social worker intervention was performed.

4 Years to 11 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The child is aged 4-10 years, with no obvious intellectual or psychological impairment, and is scheduled for peripheral venous puncture; 2. The child has a previous venous puncture pain score greater than 4; 3. The skin is intact, and the blood vessel visibility is =2mm; 4. The guardian has signed an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to any component of the medication; 2. Skin disease or infection at the puncture site; 3. Severe organ dysfunction; 4. Recent use of analgesics/sedatives.
