Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 50-70 years, gender; 2. Meet KOA diagnostic criteria [reference the KOA diagnostic criteria in the "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoarthritis (2018 Edition)": (1) repeated knee pain in the past month; (2) age =50 years; (3) morning stiffness =30 minutes; (4) crepitus (sensation) during activity; (5) X-ray (standing or weight-bearing position) shows narrowed joint space, subchondral bone sclerosis or cystic changes, and osteophyte formation at the joint margin. Diagnosis of KOA can be made if (1) is met plus any 2 of the other criteria]; 3. K-L grading II-III (Grade II: X-ray shows obvious osteophytes, joint space possibly narrowed; Grade III: X-ray shows moderate osteophytes, joint space narrowing is more obvious, with sclerotic changes); 4. Body Mass Index (BMI) =36 kg/m²; 5. Patients voluntarily sign the informed consent, able to understand instructions, cooperate with related exercise therapy and indicator testing.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients in the acute attack phase of KOA (knee pain VAS >7 points), or with persistent pain, severe pain making it difficult to sleep; knee swelling, functional impairment, limping, or inability to walk; 2) Those with a history of traditional exercise practices and physical therapy; 3) Those with severe cardiovascular, hepatic, or renal dysfunction, blood disorders, cognitive impairments, or mental illnesses that may affect participation in exercise or rehabilitation training; 4) Those with concurrent rheumatoid arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, or other diseases; 5) Those who have undergone joint cavity injections or surgical procedures within the past month; 6) Those in pregnancy or lactation; 7) Those refusing to participate in exercise or rehabilitation training; 8) Those with plans for prolonged absences in the near future.
