Acupoint Implantation Group:Acupuncture point embedding
Sham group:Sham acupuncture embedding, where the embedding needle does not contain a protein suture, with the rest of the procedure being identical to the acupuncture embedding group.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets diagnostic criteria for overweight or obesity; (2) No gender restrictions; (3) Age 18-55 years (inclusive of 18 and 55 years); (4) No prior participation in any weight-loss treatments within the last 3 months; (5) Voluntary informed consent obtained, with willingness to sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary obesity, such as obesity caused by hypothalamic, pituitary diseases, hypothyroidism, hypercortisolism, hyperinsulinemia, changes in gonadal secretion, or medications; (2) Patients with severe primary diseases of important organs or systems, such as heart, liver, kidney, or hematopoietic system; (3) Patients with neurological or psychiatric disorders who are unable to cooperate or unwilling to cooperate; (4) Pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with recent plans for pregnancy; (5) Patients with a history of allergy to iodine-based antiseptics or animal proteins; (6) Patients with a tendency to develop keloids or excessive scarring.
