18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged 18 to 80 years; 2) Preoperative colonoscopic and pathological confirmation of rectal cancer (the distal edge of the tumor is < 10 cm from the anal verge); 3) Laparoscopic low anterior resection (LAR) for rectal cancer; 4) Prophylactic stoma reversal surgery; 5) Voluntary participation with signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Conversion to Miles operation or permanent stoma; 2) Intraoperative decision to perform prophylactic stoma; 3) Preoperative LARS score of mild or higher grade; 4) Complicated with severe dysfunction of other organs; 5) Presence of contraindications to acupuncture treatment (e.g., hemorrhagic disorders, severe skin infections, cardiac pacemaker implantation); 6) Development of severe complications precluding continued treatment, or reoperation due to complications
