Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Female, aged 18 to 40 years 2: Meets the above diagnostic criteria for polycystic ovary syndrome; 3: Meet the above diagnostic criteria for overweight/obesity and abdominal obesity; 4: At least one menstrual period in the last 6 months without hormonal intervention, but in the last 12 months 5: The subjects themselves gave informed consent and voluntarily signed an informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, perimenopausal, or have a history of pregnancy, miscarriage, or childbirth in the last 30 days; 2: Patients who are being treated with Chinese or Western medications or other modalities; 3: Those with pituitary disorders, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, diabetes mellitus, hyperprolactinemia (=25 ng/ml), and other endocrine disorders that affect the menstrual cycle and endocrine disorders; 4: Patients with severe cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, hematologic, malignant neoplasm, psychiatric diseases, and abnormalities of liver and kidney functions; 5: Patients who have received disease-related herbal formulas, proprietary Chinese medicines, or acupuncture within the last 2 months; 6: Patients who have taken other medications in the last 2 months that are known to affect metabolism or weight, such as metformin and hormonal contraceptives; 7: Have had bariatric surgery in the last 1 year or are in a period of dramatic weight loss; 8: Patients with contraindications to acupuncture; 9: Patients with metal allergies or acupuncture intolerance; 10: Patients who are unable to cooperate with the frequency and course of acupuncture treatments.
