Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet diagnostic criteria: unilateral onset confirmed by imaging; Modified Ashworth Scale stage =1 and =3; 2) First episode or previous stroke history without significant sequelae; hemiplegia caused by stroke, 3) Age 40-80, any gender; 4) Conscious with stable vital signs, cooperative with examinations; 5) Voluntary participation with informed consent. 6) Meet TCM fire-toxin syndrome criteria per 'Stroke Syndrome Diagnosis Standards' and Prof. Zhang Yunling's diagnostic criteria. Main symptoms: sudden collapse, impaired consciousness, facial deviation, speech difficulty, hemiplegia, hemianesthesia. Secondary symptoms: fever/flushed face, loud voice, constipation, scanty dark urine, thirst for cold drinks. Tongue/pulse: rapid/stringent/slippery pulse; red/crimson tongue with yellow/dry coating. Requires essential tongue/pulse signs, 3-4 main symptoms, and 4-6 secondary symptoms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Peripheral nerve injury, multiple sclerosis, myopathy causing hemiplegia or congenital deformity; 3) Special populations (pregnant women, psychiatric patients, severe organ complications); 4)Currently participating in other clinical trials.
