Interventions

Electroacupuncture Group:Electroacupuncture 3 times weekly for 8 weeks. Acupoints: Baihui (GV20), Yintang (EX-HN3), bilateral Benshen (GB13). After achieving deqi with even reinforcing-reducing method

18 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet diagnostic criteria; (2) HAMD-17 score: 7 = Total score <17; (3) Any gender, age 18-55; (4) Capable of completing questionnaires independently with informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Clinically diagnosed depression, history of mental disorders or organic mental disorders; (2) Severe cardiovascular, cerebral, hepatic, renal or hematopoietic system diseases; (3) Pregnant/lactating women; (4) Substance-induced depressive episodes; (5) Concurrent use of other antidepressants/therapies; (6) Known alcoholism/substance dependence; (7) Active suicidal ideation/behavior; (8) Participation in other clinical trials; (9) Antidepressant treatment within 1 week prior; (10) Cranial defects/skin infections affecting treatment; (11) Needle allergy/history of acupuncture syncope; (12) Age 55; (13) Non-compliance/incomplete data affecting evaluation.
