40 Years to 85 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 40 and 85 years; 2. Clinical symptoms, signs, and electrophysiological examinations suggest Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP); according to the updated PSP diagnostic criteria published by the Movement Disorder Society (MDS) PSP Working Group in 2017, probable or possible PSP, including all subtypes with postural instability in the clinical pull test; 3. Presence of lower limb motor dysfunction, including but not limited to increased muscle tone, balance disorders, and abnormal posture and gait; 4. During the study period, maintain stable and unchanged drug treatment doses, such as cholinergic, dopaminergic, 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin)ergic, or NMDA receptor antagonists.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of epilepsy or a history of epilepsy in first-degree relatives; 2. Individuals with cardiac pacemakers, cochlear implants, or other metallic foreign bodies, or any implanted electronic devices, or those with claustrophobia or other contraindications for MRI scans or TMS therapy; 3. Participants who have received TMS, transcranial electrical stimulation, transcranial focused ultrasound, or other neuroregulation therapies within the past three months; 4. Coagulation disorders; 5. Severe infection, ulcers, or tumor infiltration at the acupuncture site; 6. Unable to comply with follow-up due to regional or other reasons.
