Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation: imaging examinations confirm lumbar disc herniation with compression of one side of the nerve root, clinically presenting as low back pain accompanied by radiating pain in one lower limb; (2) Aged =20 years and =60 years, regardless of gender; (3) Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score for pain =3 and =7; (4) Course of disease lasting more than 3 months; (5) Agreement not to receive other treatments (including muscle relaxant medications) during the study period; (6) Voluntary participation in this study and provision of signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) History or suspicion of major lumbar pathologies, such as fracture, tumor, osteoporosis, cauda equina syndrome, etc.; (2) History of spinal surgery within the past year; (3) Presence of severe organic diseases or psychiatric disorders; (4) Participation in other clinical trials within the three months prior to enrollment; (5) Pregnant or lactating women; (6) History of significant infectious diseases or genetic disorders; (7) Individuals with intellectual or cognitive impairments that preclude the ability to complete questionnaires or examinations.
