Control Group:Patients received standard acupuncture therapy. Participants were positioned supine with the treatment area fully exposed. After disinfection of acupuncture points with 75% alcohol swabs
Sizhukong–Zanzhu mutual permeation. Needles were inserted at a 15° angle to the skin, 0.5–1 inch deep, and 1-minute twisting drainage was performed. (3) Taiyang Two-Point Permeation: Dicang and Jiache

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18~65 years, without gender restriction; 2.Meets the diagnostic criteria for facial paralysis as per the "Standards for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine," with a disease duration of =28 days; 3.Voluntarily agrees to participate in the trial and has good compliance, and is able to cooperate to complete the entire course of treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) individuals who did not meet the inclusion criteria; (2) patients with facial paralysis secondary to tumors, major trauma, or cerebrovascular accidents; (3) patients with severe primary diseases affecting the cardiovascular, hepatic, renal, or hematopoietic systems, or those with mental disorders; (4) pregnant or breastfeeding women; (5) patients with local skin ulcers, keloid-prone skin, or known needle allergies; and (6) individuals with needle phobia or other contraindications to acupuncture therapy.
