Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for perianal abscess; 2) Aged between 18 and 65 years; 3) No history of anal fistula surgery or abnormal anal morphology and function; 4) No contraindications to surgery, and who agree to surgical treatment and have signed the relevant informed consent form; 5) Patients with good postoperative compliance, who can follow medical advice and adhere to treatment, have not used other topical medications related to this disease, and are able to attend regular follow-up appointments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with severe heart, brain, liver, and kidney diseases, malnutrition, anemia, endocrine disorders, chronic diarrhea, perianal skin diseases, hematopoietic system diseases, rectal prolapse, anorectal neurosis, those who have undergone radiotherapy and chemotherapy for tumors, and those with mental illness who cannot tolerate surgery or have conditions that affect wound healing after surgery; 2) Pregnant, menstruating, and lactating women; 3) Patients whose perianal abscess is caused by trauma; 4) Patients older than 65 years or younger than 18 years; 5) Patients with tuberculosis, cancer, and Crohn's disease; 6) Patients with metabolic diseases such as diabetes that affect wound healing; 7) Patients with allergic constitution, keloid constitution, and those who are intolerant to medications during treatment; 8) Patients who did not attend follow-up appointments on time, making it impossible to determine the efficacy of treatment, or those with incomplete data that affects the assessment of treatment efficacy.
