Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for pediatric UACS (with reference to the Chinese "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Cough in Children"); (2) Aged 3-12 years, regardless of gender; (3) No use of medications such as intranasal corticosteroids or antibiotics within one week prior to treatment; (4) Legal guardians of the pediatric patients have provided informed consent and signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Sinusitis accompanied by facial pain/swelling or olfactory dysfunction, or complicated by otitis media; (2) Cough attributable to other identified causes (e.g., asthma, protracted bacterial bronchitis, gastroesophageal reflux, etc.); (3) Coexisting respiratory diseases, or severe cardiac, hepatic, renal diseases, or immunodeficiency; (4) Local skin lesions or infections contraindicating massage therapy; (5) Allergy to press needles (thumbtack-type acupuncture needles); (6) Current participation in other clinical trials.
