45 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age 45–80 years, both male and female. 2) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for Parkinson's disease and levodopa-induced dyskinesia. 3) Hoehn–Yahr stage 1–3. 4) Having received at least one month of stable dosage of anti-Parkinson medication. 5) Able to understand and voluntarily sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Participants who have participated in other clinical trials involving drugs, acupuncture, etc. within 1 month prior to inclusion in this study. 2) Those with definite severe diseases of other systems, such as immune system diseases, endocrine system diseases (e.g., pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, etc.), respiratory system diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, or hepatic and renal insufficiency. 3) Participants planning for pregnancy in the near future. 4) Pregnant or lactating women. 5) Individuals with a history of substance abuse (e.g., alcohol, drugs, caffeine) within the past six months. 6) Participants who have previously undergone or plan to undergo deep brain stimulation therapy or rectal infusion of levodopa during the study period. 7) Those with severe cognitive impairment or hallucinations, unable to cooperate with scale assessments. 8) Participants with a fear of acupuncture.
