18 Years to 45 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-45 years; 2. Right-handed; 3. No metallic or magnetic implants and able to cooperate with magnetoencephalography (MEG) and MRI examinations; 4. No history of neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders, or severe internal medical diseases; 5. No claustrophobia; 6. No history of chronic pain or long-term acupuncture treatment; 7. Native Chinese speaker; 8. No acute conditions within one week prior to the experiment that may interfere with scanning compliance, such as acute upper respiratory infection, fever, severe rhinitis, or cough.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women; 2. Individuals with severe fear or phobia of acupuncture; 3. Recent use of medications affecting the central nervous system; 4. Local skin infection at the limbs; 5. History of tattooing, cosmetic tattooing (e.g., eyebrow tattooing), hair dyeing, or perming within the past one month; 6. Participation in other clinical trials within the past three months.
