Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age =30 years and =65 years 2)Main Symptoms: Dull complexion, vertigo, and dizziness; Secondary Symptoms: Chest oppression, nausea, reduced appetite, and excessive sleepiness; Tongue and Pulse: Dark tongue or pale red tongue with ecchymoses at the edges, white greasy coating; stringy andpulse. Diagnosis of Phlegm-Obstruction and Blood Stasis Syndrome can be made with 2 or more main symptoms, or 1 main symptom plus 2 secondary symptoms. 3) Have discontinued all Chinese herbal medications for lipid regulation 4) Ultrasound findings meet the diagnostic criteria for carotid atherosclerotic plaque Definition of CIMT and plaque: Carotid atherosclerotic plaque is defined as a local structural change protruding into the arterial lumen, measuring at least 0.5mm or 50% greater than the surrounding CIMT, or CIMT >1.5mm. 5) Voluntarily sign the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (e.g., acute myocardial infarction, acute heart failure, acute phase or recovery phase of stroke); 2. Patients with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction or other systemic diseases; 3. Patients with active ulcers or a tendency to bleed, including those on long-term anticoagulant therapy; 4. Patients with ultrasound showing plaque-induced stenosis of the carotid artery lumen =70%, significantly affecting carotid artery blood flow; 5. Patients with severe mental disorders who are unable to cooperate with treatment or may affect the treatment response; 6. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 7. Patients who have participated in other clinical trials within the past month; 8. Patients with a history of allergies or hypersensitivity to components of the investigational drug; 9. Patients deemed unsuitable for clinical trials by the research team for other reasons. If any of the above conditions apply, participation in this study is not permitted.
