18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 18-70 years; (2) Meets Western diagnostic criteria for post-infection cough (persistent cough lasting 3-8 weeks after resolution of acute respiratory infection symptoms); (3) Meets TCM diagnostic criteria for wind-heat syndrome in cough; (4) Informed consent obtained, voluntary participation, and signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Comorbidities including lung cancer, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis, COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, or other severe respiratory diseases; (2) Severe cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diseases, malignancies, hematologic disorders, or other serious systemic conditions; (3) Abnormal liver/kidney function: ALT or AST exceeding 1.5× upper limit of normal, or abnormal BUN/Cr; (4) Current use of ACE inhibitors or other cough-inducing medications; (5) Recent use (within 1 month) of glucocorticoids or leukotriene receptor antagonists affecting FeNO test results; (6) Pregnant, lactating, or planning pregnancy; (7) Allergy to trial medication components; (8) Participation in other clinical trials within 1 month; (9) Other conditions deemed ineligible by investigators.
