Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for depression as defined in DSM-5; 2) Screening and baseline Hamilton Depression Scale: HAMD-24-item score = 20 points; 3) Age 18-65 years (inclusive of 18 and 65), regardless of gender; 4) Within two weeks prior to enrollment, no antipsychotic drugs, mood stabilizers, or antidepressants have been taken by the patient; 5) The patient or their legal guardian has signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Has a history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, alcohol and drug dependence; 2) Has severe suicidal behavior or thoughts; 3) Has a brain organic disease; 4) Has malignant tumors or severe abnormalities in heart, liver, or kidney functions; 5) Pregnant or lactating women; 6) Those currently participating in other drug clinical studies or receiving long-term acupuncture treatment; 7) Those with abdominal skin injuries or infections, acute abdominal inflammations or organic lesions, early post-abdominal surgery or unhealed wounds; 8) Those with severe bleeding tendencies or coagulation disorders, acute infectious diseases or high fever conditions; 9) Those intolerant or allergic to electrical stimulation, or those with implanted electronic devices in their bodies.
