Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients presenting with neck pain as the chief complaint; (2) History of neck pain and/or stiffness attacks in the past 3 months or longer, with a frequency of at least once per month on average, with or without positive musculoskeletal signs (including limited range of motion, local tenderness points, etc.); (3) VAS score >3 at enrollment; (4) Aged 18-60 years; (5) No acupuncture treatment for neck pain received within the past month; (6) Able to understand and sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Herniated disc(s) with neurological symptoms, prior spinal surgery, infectious spinal disease, neck pain due to inflammatory/malignant/autoimmune conditions, congenital spinal deformities (excluding mild lordosis/scoliosis), osteoporotic compression fractures, spinal stenosis, or spondylolisthesis; (2) Serious cardiac, hepatic, renal, cerebrovascular, or malignant diseases deemed by investigators as unsuitable for study participation; (3) Chronic debility, severe neurosis, dementia, or pregnant/lactating women; (4) Bleeding disorders including leukemia or thrombocytopenia; (5) Severe or generalized skin disorders; (6) Concurrent alternative treatments or therapies received within 30 days before study commencement; (7) Inability to cooperate with treatment or poor adherence.
