Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) The patients diagnosed as having simple childhood obesity with a strong stomach and weak spleen according to both Western medicine disease diagnostic criteria and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation criteria; 2) Excluding other secondary obesity conditions such as genetic inheritance, endocrine disorders, metabolic abnormalities, nephrotic syndrome, etc. 3) Adolescents and children aged between 6 and 18 years old; 4) Those who have not received any related treatment for simple childhood obesity; 5) Parents and/or the patients have fully understood this study, agreed to receive treatment, and signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with chronic systemic diseases; 2) Individuals with secondary obesity caused by other diseases or medication use, such as Cushing's syndrome, hyperadrenocorticism, hypothyroidism, pituitary disorders, and long-term use of glucocorticoids, antiepileptic drugs, etc.; 3) Children with other severe underlying metabolic diseases; 4) Other situations that the researchers consider unsuitable for this clinical trial.
