Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets disease diagnostic criteria, and has only taken benzodiazepines for insomnia in the past year, with a duration of use exceeding 6 months; in the past 6 months, benzodiazepines were taken before bed most nights for more than half of the time, and there was no sudden significant increase in the past 2 weeks before joining the study; 2. Aged between 18-70 years old; 3. PSQI total score =7 points; 4. No acupuncture treatment received in the past 6 months before joining this study; 5. Willing to strictly reduce benzodiazepine use according to the protocol if no significant discomfort occurs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Abusers of other psychoactive substances; 2. Individuals with severe mental or psychological disorders, such as severe depression, generalized anxiety disorder, epilepsy, schizophrenia, etc., with HADS = 8 points; 3. Individuals with severe organic diseases of the brain, heart, kidneys, liver, etc.; 4. Pregnant, breastfeeding, or intending to become pregnant women; 5. Participants in other research studies.
