Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age: 35 to 55 years old gender not limited; 2) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for presbyopia: After wearing orthodontic lenses one cannot see 1.0 clearly within 40cm of the near vision chart. Near vision can be increased by at least one line or more by adding spherical lenses. 3) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for visual fatigue: Visual impairment: 1)Short-term blurred vision or double vision occurs when working at close range or reading for a short period of time; 2)Eye discomfort: eye distension eye pain dry eyes burning sensation in the eyes tearing itchy eyes foreign body sensation in the eyes and orbital pain; 3)General symptoms: Easy fatigue headache dizziness memory loss. In severe cases nausea and vomiting may occur along with anxiety irritability and other symptoms of neurosis [Diagnosis can be made if 3/5 of the symptoms 1)and 2)are met]. 4) Sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those with any of the following circumstances will be excluded 1) Coexisting with other serious eye diseases (such as severe cataracts glaucoma retinal diseases strabismus amblyopia etc.); 2) Those with active ocular lesions or those who have undergone ophthalmic surgery within the last three months; 3) Severe systemic diseases throughout the body; 4) Concurrent mental disorders; 5) Those who have used anti-visual fatigue drugs or received acupuncture treatment within the past month; 6) Those with skin lesions scars or other conditions that affect acupuncture treatment at the acupoints.
