Interventions

Intervention group:On the basis of basic treatment for sepsis, add Wang Leting's golden needle technique of Quchi (LI11) penetrating Bibo (LI14).
Control Group:Basic treatment for sepsis includes anti-infection therapy, fluid resuscitation, organ support, etc.

60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the diagnostic criteria for sepsis. 2.Absolute lymphocyte count < 1.10×10^9/L at the time of enrollment. 3.Aged 60-80 years; 4.Expected length of hospital stay =72 hours. 5.SOFA score between 5 and 12 points at the time of enrollment. 6.Patients or their family members have signed the informed consent form and agreed to participate in the clinical trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.In addition to sepsis, having other factors leading to immunosuppression such as: 1) Immunosuppression caused by underlying diseases, e.g.: malignant tumors, congenital immunodeficiency, HIV infection, etc.; 2) Immunosuppression caused by the use of immunosuppressants due to underlying diseases or other iatrogenic factors, e.g.: being treated with immunosuppressants for various autoimmune diseases, myelosuppression due to radiotherapy/chemotherapy for malignant tumors, long-term use of immunosuppressants to overcome rejection after organ transplantation, splenectomy for various reasons, etc.; 3) Immunosuppression caused by extreme factors, e.g.: patients with long-term severe malnutrition, etc.; 2.Using various drugs or interventions that may have immune-enhancing effects; 3.Local skin barrier damage or severe limb edema at Quchi (LI11) and Binao (LI14) acupoints, making acupuncture treatment impossible;
