Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.first on-set of brain injury or cerebral hemorrhage; 2.Disease duration of 1 to 6 months; 3.Clinically diagnosed with minimally conscious state (MCS) under chronic disorders of consciousnesspatients exhibit intermittent and fluctuating signs of awareness demonstrating emotional and purposeful behavioral responses such as command following object use pain localization visual tracking or sustained gaze fixation; 4.Tracheostomy status; 5.Age 18–80 years any gender; 6.Able to undergo electroencephalography (EEG) examination; 7.Written informed consent signed by a legal guardian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Unstable vital signs; 2.Significant obstructive or communicating hydrocephalus57; 3.Severe brainstem injury or isolated brainstem lesions2; 4.Disorders of consciousness caused by primary/secondary brain tumors or hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy; 5.Coagulopathy or extensive skin lesions near acupuncture points contraindicating treatment4; 6.Pre-existing dysphagia regardless of etiology; 7.Severe spasticity causing significant EMG interference
