DIERS+ Dynamic Spinal Adjustment Group:After evaluation with the DIERS assessment system, basic acupuncture combined with moving bone-setting manipulation was applied.
Standard Dynamic Orthopedic Group:After X-ray evaluation, basic acupuncture combined with moving bone-setting manipulation was applied.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnostic Criteria: Refer to the "Diagnosis and Treatment Standards for Lumbar Disc Herniation" issued and implemented by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994: History of lumbar trauma, chronic overuse, or exposure to cold and dampness; most patients have a history of chronic low back pain before onset, commonly occurring in young and middle-aged adults; Low back pain radiating to the buttocks and lower extremities, with exacerbation during increased abdominal pressure (e.g., coughing or sneezing); Spinal scoliosis, loss of lumbar lordosis, tenderness at the lesion site with radiation to the lower extremities, and restricted lumbar mobility; Sensory hypersensitivity or hypoesthesia in the affected nerve distribution area of the lower extremities; long-standing cases may show muscle atrophy, positive straight leg raise or (reinforcement test), weakened or absent knee and Achilles tendon reflexes, and reduced dorsiflexion strength of the toes; Radiographic findings: loss of lumbar lordosis, possible narrowing of the intervertebral disc space, and osteophyte formation at adjacent margins; CT and MRI may demonstrate the location and degree of disc herniation. Inclusion Criteria: Patients meeting the above diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation; Willing and able to actively cooperate and complete clinical observation; Age between 18 and 65 years; Voluntarily participating in the study, signing an informed consent form, with complete imaging data, and a follow-up period of more than 6 months; If previously treated with other manual or conservative therapies, a washout period of more than 5 days has been completed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with extremely severe clinical symptoms who require surgical treatment; 2. Patients with severe primary diseases of the digestive system, cardiovascular system (such as hypertension or coronary artery disease), hematopoietic system, or mental disorders; 3. Lactating or pregnant women; 4. Patients with spinal vertebral fractures, spinal cord tumors, or compression symptoms caused by factors other than lumbar disc herniation; 5. Patients with poor compliance who are unable to return to this hospital for follow-up, unable to undergo MRI examinations, or have incomplete imaging data.
