Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis and Kellgren-Lawrence grading = III as specified in the 2021 edition of the "Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Osteoarthritis" formulated by the Orthopedics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; (2) Age range: 65 = age = 75 years old; (3) First-time recipient of knee joint replacement surgery; (4) Both the patient and their family have signed the informed consent form. All criteria must be met to qualify as a subject; failure to meet any one criterion disqualifies inclusion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, and heart failure; (2) Patients with knee joint diseases other than knee osteoarthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis and gouty arthritis; (3) Patients with active bleeding or local infection at the knee joint; (4) Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, severe abnormalities in liver and kidney function, cognitive impairments, or mental disorders; (5) Patients who cannot tolerate moxibustion or acupuncture therapy.
