Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for Grade 1 hypertension and has been regularly taking antihypertensive medications for at least 2 weeks; 2. 35 years = age = 75 years; 3. All enrolled patients in this study have signed informed consent forms.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary hypertension; 2. Due to cardiac reasons requiring long-term oral administration of beta-blockers, diuretics, or non-dihydropyridine CCBs; 3. Night shift workers or individuals with irregular sleep schedules; 4. Patients with epilepsy and acute cerebrovascular diseases; 5. Patients with severe hematological disorders, coagulation dysfunction, or malignant tumors; 6. Patients with diabetic nephropathy, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency, or severe arrhythmias; 7. Individuals with infections at the acupuncture points or nearby skin; 8. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 9. Individuals currently participating in or having participated in other clinical trials within the past month; 10. Individuals who experience adverse reactions at the acupuncture site preventing further acupuncture, those with severe needle phobia, or those prone to fainting during acupuncture.
