Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years, gender unrestricted; 2. CT or MRI confirmed acute LDH (protrusion/extrusion/freely mobile, Pfirrmann II-IV grades); 3. Symptoms lasting 2 weeks to 3 months, VAS = 4/10; 4. Informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Chronic LDH (>3 months) or prior lumbar spine surgery. 2) Severe complications (e.g., cauda equina syndrome, tumors, infections). 3) Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or bleeding disorders. 4) Pacemaker or other acupuncture contraindications. 5) Acupuncture or epidural injection within the past 4 weeks. 6) Cognitive impairments affecting assessment..
