Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and are confirmed to have UC; (2) Patients who can be diagnosed with Chinese medicine syndromes based on the theory of syndrome elements; (3) Colonoscopy and Chinese medicine syndrome element data should be obtained within one week before and after enrollment; (4) Patients aged 18 years or older, with no restriction on gender; (5) Patients who voluntarily agree to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who do not meet the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine or whose diagnosis is not yet clear; (2) Patients who cannot be diagnosed with Chinese medicine syndromes based on the theory of syndrome elements; (3) Patients with severe diseases in other systems or those with severe infections; (4) Patients with severe underlying diseases such as heart, brain, liver, or kidney conditions; pregnant or breastfeeding women; and patients with a clear history of mental illness who are currently undergoing treatment.
