Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Aged 6 to 12 years; 2) ASA class I-II; 3) BMI < 28 kg/m²; 4) Patients scheduled for elective strabismus surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Contraindications for Transcutaneous Electrical Acupuncture Stimulation (TEAS) include implanted electronic devices, skin damage, or infection at the stimulation site; 2)Neurological disorders (e.g., epilepsy) or cardiovascular diseases (e.g., severe arrhythmias); 3)Other types of strabismus besides intermittent exotropia; 4)Other ocular diseases (e.g., nystagmus, amblyopia, or ptosis); 5)History of strabismus or previous ocular surgery.
