Dexmedetomidine Group:Nebulized inhalation of dexmedetomidine before anesthesia induction
dexmedetomidine combinded with press needles group:Nebulized inhalation of dexmedetomidine before anesthesia induction
Press needles were applyed to bilateral Sanyinjiao, Yanglingquan, and Taichong points before surgery and retained for 3 days postoperatively

65 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients undergoing orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia; 2) ASA levels I-III; 3) Aged over 65 years old; 4) No history of allergy to dexmedetomidine;5) BMI between 18.5 and 23 kg/m².

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who refuse to sign the informed consent form; 2) Patients with severe diseases of vital organs such as the heart, brain, lungs, liver, or kidneys; 3) Patients with psychiatric disorders or a history of long-term anesthetic drug use; 4) Patients with local infection at the acupoint or needle phobia; 5) Patients where acupoint exposure is difficult.
