Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Aged = 2 years and < 18 years, regardless of gender; diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA) in accordance with the Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) classification criteria of the International League of Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR) in 2001; age at onset must be = 16 years; clinical manifestations include = 1 joint affected by arthritis, accompanied by or preceded by recurrent fever lasting = 2 weeks (among which remittent fever occurs for = 3 consecutive days, defined as a daily maximum body temperature = 39? and a drop to below 37? between two fever peaks), with at least one of the following symptoms: transient non-fixed erythematous rash, generalized lymphadenopathy, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, or serositis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Excluding the other 6 subtypes of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA);(2) Infectious diseases: For children with fever, hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, rash, and increased peripheral blood leukocytes, careful exclusion of sepsis or systemic viral infection is required;(3) Neoplastic diseases: For cases presenting with the following symptoms (anemia, thrombocytopenia, fever, hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy), leukemia, tumors, and other malignant diseases should be excluded;(4) Arthritis caused by other factors: For cases with prominent manifestations of joint redness, swelling, heat, and pain, suppurative arthritis and tuberculous arthritis should be excluded;(5) Other rheumatic diseases: For cases with prominent manifestations of skin, mucous membrane, and internal organ damage, other rheumatic diseases (such as dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), etc.) need to be excluded;(6) Having used other Chinese patent medicines or traditional Chinese medicine preparations to interfere with the immune system within the past month.
