Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: It meets the diagnostic criteria for essential hypertension in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine and after syndrome differentiation it conforms to the syndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang. Patients with grade 1 and grade 2 hypertension; Age between 18 and 65 years old gender not limited; Participate voluntarily and sign the informed consent form; No acupuncture treatment has been received recently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from grade 3 hypertension secondary hypertension hypertensive emergencies critical conditions white coat hypertension etc. (2) Patients with combined heart brain kidney and other diseases blood diseases skin diseases mental system diseases as well as those with allergic constitutions or allergies to multiple drugs; (3) Pregnant and lactating women; (4) Patients with a history of fainting at the sight of needles; (5) Those who participated in other clinical trials during this period; (6) Those who refuse or are unable to sign the informed consent form; (7) Have taken any medications that affect blood pressure in the past four weeks such as hormone drugs immunosuppressants lipid-regulating drugs estrogen and alternative drugs etc. (8) Incomplete information unclear description of medical history or intentional concealment of medical history thereby affecting the judgment of effectiveness and safety; (9) Those who have a history of angioedema stroke or transient ischemic attack myocardial infarction coronary artery bypass surgery or any percutaneous coronary intervention within 12 months prior to screening.
