Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Stroke patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment who meet the following criteria may be included in the study: 1)Patients diagnosed with stroke according to the diagnostic criteria for cerebrovascular diseases in the "Chinese Classification of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2019"; 2) Confirmed as stroke by cranial CT or MRI; 3) Within 3 to 6 months after the first ischemic stroke; 4) No severe motor impairment, able to cooperate in completing the assessment; 5) Age between 18 and 75 years, inclusive; 6) Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score <27, able to understand and cooperate in completing the experiment; 7) Assessed as right-handed by the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory; 8) Voluntarily sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with a history of brain-related diseases affecting cognitive function; 2. Patients with other neurological disorders (e.g., dementia, epilepsy), severe mental illnesses, or metal implants; 3. Individuals currently taking medications that affect cognitive function; 4. Patients with severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, or other systemic diseases, malignant tumors, or epilepsy; 5. Those who are unwilling or unable to complete the assessment; 6. Pregnant individuals or those planning to become pregnant; 7. Patients who have undergone acupuncture or neuro therapy within the past three months; 8. Patients unsuitable for acupuncture, such as those with skin conditions or injuries at the acupuncture site, a history of acupuncture allergy, or inability to cooperate with acupuncture treatment.
