18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Preoperative diagnosis of gastric cancer confirmed by pathological, endoscopic, and imaging examinations 2: According to the AJCC 8th edition criteria, the pathological stage was categorized as I–III 3: Age between 18 and 75 years with legal competence 4: Undergoing abdominal surgery for the first time via laparoscopic distal gastrectomy 5: General anesthesia 6: Classification as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–III 7: Voluntary participation in the trial with provision of written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: Combined resection of other organs during surgery 2: Advanced-stage cancer 3: Conversion to open surgery due to failed laparoscopic procedure 4: Postoperative transfer to the ICU for any reason exceeding 2 days 5: Severe comorbidities affecting the liver, kidney, lungs, heart, or cerebrovascular system 6: Unwillingness to receive transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation or auricular acupressure
