Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 30 and 70 years. 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for stroke established at the 1995 Fourth National Academic Conference on Cerebrovascular Diseases in China, confirmed by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). 3. First-ever stroke with unilateral limb dysfunction. 4. Disease course of more than 3 months but less than 6 months. 5. Presence of cognitive impairment (Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score of >10 and <26 points). 6. Presence of upper limb motor dysfunction (Fugl-Meyer Assessment for Upper Extremity (FMA-UE) score of <28 points). 7. Able to maintain a seated position for over 40 minutes. 8. Willing to provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Dysfunction caused by other medical conditions. 2. Tai Chi masters or individuals with prior participation in Tai Chi training. 3. Presence of visual or hearing impairment. 4. History of recurrent epilepsy, or severe dysfunction of major organs (e.g., heart, lung, liver, kidney). 5. Participation in other clinical trials within the past 3 months. 6. Any other conditions that may compromise the ability to cooperate with or suitability for the examinations, assessments, or interventions in this study (e.g., significant pain, psychiatric disorders).
