Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age range: 3-18 years; (2) Diagnosed with JIA according to ILAR classification criteria; (3) =1 month since initial diagnosis; (4) Wong-Baker pain score =4 at enrollment; (5) Classifiable pain phenotype identified by our research team's assessment tool; (6) Informed consent from patients and legal guardians; (7) Good compliance to complete the study; (8) Patients already receiving standardized conventional drug therapy with confirmed regimen at enrollment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe organic diseases (e.g., congenital heart disease, kidney diseases); (2) sJIA with macrophage activation syndrome; (3) Comorbid rheumatic/immune diseases (e.g., SLE, dermatomyositis); (4) Active infections or malignancies; (5) Infection/ulceration at acupuncture sites; (6) Metal implants or severe deformities at press needle sites; (7) Allergy to press needle materials; (8) Recent (within 4 weeks) acupuncture/TCM treatments including herbal medicine.
