Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: (1) Aged 18 to 70 years, both genders included; (2) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for grade 1 and 2 mild to moderate hypertension according to the "2024 Revised Edition of the Chinese Hypertension Prevention and Treatment Guidelines" with low to moderate cardiovascular risk levels; (3) No acupuncture treatment received within 3 months; (4) Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 27.9 kg/m²; (5) Sodium intake < 4g/day (salt intake recommended = 10g/day); (6) Patients who voluntarily participate in this study and have signed the informed consent form. Note: Only patients who meet all the above criteria will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: (1) Patients with skin diseases or skin lesions at the target acupoints that are unsuitable for acupuncture; (2) Patients with a history of mental illness, or pregnant or lactating women; (3) Patients currently participating in other clinical trials; (4) Patients with a history of acupuncture syncope. Note: Patients meeting any of the above criteria will be excluded.
