Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Mothers of preterm infants aged 18-45 years, whose infants were born at less than 37 weeks' gestation and admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit; 2. Mothers who have the intention to breastfeed; 3. Mothers of preterm infants who meet the criteria for deficiency of both qi and blood as outlined in the "Guidelines for Clinical Research of NewDrugs," with primary symptoms of thin breast milk or even complete absence of milk, secondary symptoms of fatigue, pallor, and lack of vitality, a pale tongue with white coating, and a weak pulse, and are assessed as having postpartum insufficient lactation; 4. Mothers of preterm infants who agree to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Unable to cooperate with manual expression or use of a breast pump; 2.Severe pregnancy-related complications or comorbidities that affect postpartum milk expression; 3. Contraindications for breastfeeding, such as premature infants whose mothers are using certain medications temporarily, HIV infection, human T-cell lymphotropic virus (HTLV) infection, or substance abuse; 4. Mental disorders or impairments in hearing, speaking, reading, or writing that affect communication.
