Interventions

Experimental group (taVNS group):Receive standard perioperative care and active taVNS intervention.
Control group (placebo electrical stimulation group):receives standard perioperative care and sham electrical stimulation intervention
Standard Care Group (only receiving standard perioperative care):As the control group, they do not receive electrical stimulation.

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age: 18-70 years old; preoperative pathological diagnosis of colon or rectal cancer and planned to undergo laparoscopic radical surgery; American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I-III; understanding and agreement to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with severe cardiovascular diseases, mental disorders, or other conditions affecting the function of the autonomic nervous system; those who have used medications that may impact HRV, such as antidepressants or anxiolytics, within the past 3 months; individuals allergic to electrical stimulation or with skin injuries; and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
