Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Meets diagnostic criteria for abdominal obesity; (2) Aged 18–65 years, male or female; (3) Patients who voluntarily sign an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with secondary obesity caused by medications, surgery, endocrine factors, etc.; (2) Patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment, cachexia, cardiovascular or cerebrovascular events, or psychiatric disorders; (3) Pregnant or lactating women; (4) Individuals who have taken medications known to affect weight or appetite within the past 3 months, such as weight-loss drugs, corticosteroids, antidepressants, hypoglycemic agents, etc.; or those with plans to quit smoking or drinking; (5) Patients who have participated in other acupuncture treatments or studies within the past 3 months; (6) Patients with contraindications to acupuncture, such as severe allergies, bleeding disorders, or severe infections. (5) Patients who have participated in other acupuncture treatments or studies within the past 3 months; (6) Individuals with skin lesions at the intervention site or those with metal allergies; (7) Participants unable to cooperate or adhere to the intervention and follow-up requirements.
