18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) First onset of traumatic brain injury or stroke duration of impaired consciousness >28 days but <1 year 2) Age 18-65 years old gender is not limited 3) Patients classified as vegetative state (VS) or minimal conscious state (MCS) according to internationally recognized standards 4)Able to cooperate with near-infrared brain functional imaging examination and acupuncture treatment 5) Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) History of epilepsy within 1 month 2) Cranial defects 3)Severe complications including heart failure or renal failure 4)Brain structural deformation and defects greater than 30% of the whole brain.
