Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult Cerebral Infarction Group 1). Age: 18–80 years old; 2). Definite diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke, with lesions confined to the unilateral corona radiata or basal ganglia (to ensure the homogeneity of imaging analysis); 3). Onset time: 6 to 72 hours; 4). Stable vital signs at enrollment; 5). Voluntarily signed the informed consent form. Normal Control Group 1). No history of severe mental or physical diseases, no history of central nervous system diseases, and no history of drug or alcohol dependence; 2). No organic lesions found in routine cranial magnetic resonance examination; 3). No contraindications to magnetic resonance examination

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, or other central nervous system disorders; 2. Multiple cerebral infarction lesions; 3. Patients with cardiac pacemakers, neurostimulators, artificial metallic heart valves, or other implanted devices; patients with metallic foreign bodies (e.g., metallic implants, dental prosthetics, intrauterine devices) or insulin pumps who must undergo MRI should do so cautiously or after removal; patients with aneurysm clips (except non-ferromagnetic ones like titanium alloys); patients with metallic foreign bodies in the eyes, inner ear implants, metallic prostheses, metallic prosthetic limbs, metallic joints, or ferromagnetic foreign bodies in the body; 4. Pregnant women in the first three months of early pregnancy; 5. Patients with severe high fever; 6. Critically ill patients requiring life support systems; 7. Patients with claustrophobia; if MRI is necessary, it should be performed after administering appropriate sedatives; 8. Comatose patients or those with unstable vital signs.
